I am looking into taking a wall in my kitchen out to open the kitchen to the family room. The wall is actually between teh famiily room and the sink area. I am looking at making a half wall wioht a bar type setup from teh family room. My question is how do I determine if it is a load bearing wall. I have gable style roof. I can provide pictures of the attic area if need be.
