installing concrete pavers

I have just finished compacting the crushed concrete for my concrete paver patio. I still have to lay the sand and pavers but I can't get to it for another week to two due to my work schedule. Is it OK to leave the graded crushed concrete exposed to the elements for that long before finishing the project? Also, at what point do I install the edge restraints? I have read that I should do it now and have also read to do it after laying the pavers. Thanks.
