CAC unit isn't working

My CAC unit isn't working properly. The external compressor unit comes on but shuts off after a while. This evening I went out and noticed the fan turning very slowly. Also, it doesn't sound right. If anyone can offer suggestions as to what the problem might be I would appreciate it.
