I am building a deck and where you used to enter my basement through a bilco door i want to make the deck itself open for access. The deck is made of maghony planks and the door will also be the same planks, since it is the deck. My question is what type of hinges do i use so my planks can line up and look as though there is no door. Of course i know there will be a cut line but i want the planks to be close together. any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
