Hi, One of the disappearing springs on my "Ez way stairway Model 18" attic ladder broke off and I've been having a tough time locating a replacement. The spring is approx. 16 inches long and half an inch in diameter. The ladder is at least 30-40 years old. The manufacturer's name is Minnesota Wood Specialties. Does anyone have any idea where to buy one? I've been to the Home Depots, Ace Hardwares, and the mom & pop shops in my area, but so far no one seems to have anything close to it. Please advise. Thanks. -KL
