Hello, I am building a new home and wiring it myself. I am putting a chandelier in the foyer on the peak of the cathedral ceiling . I asked the framer to make me a fake beam so i could put a block to hang the correct ceiling box. he never did so i eventually just mounted the box to the ridge beam in the center of the ceiling. the sheetrockers have since come in a rocked the foyer. and left me a small cutout where the box is , but i don't think this is going to work given the box is above the rock and the light base would have to sit in the downward v of the ceiling. since the framer looked at me as if i were stupid when requesting this beam is there an adapter or something to make this work as is or am i going to have to insist he make me a fake beam. thank you
