Steel I-Beam vs Glulam Beam

I will be expanding the roof over my porch. Currently the roof over the porch is supported by a wood beam that covers the entire width of the porch (20'3") with 4 4X4 posts holding up the beam (each post is approximately 6'6" apart). The depth of the roof is 5'7" (from where the building ends to the end of the current roof). I am planning on extending the roof another 6'6" to cover the entire porch. What I would like to do is have a total of 4 posts to support the roof (replace the 2 middle posts on the current roof leaving the 2 posts on the end and 2 new posts to support the end of the newly added roof). Which product would be the best to use - a steel I beam or a glulam beam?
