CommentsSix yrs after the construction of our new home, we are experiencing a leech field failure. Other homes in our new devpt already had their fields replaced due to poor fill quality. We had ours tested and found that the makeup of our fill had never even met our state code. It should never have been approved ... but somehow it was ok'd by a township engr. We requested the builder come forward and correct our problem (app $28k) but they say its out of the 2yr warranty. How should we proceed? Do we go against the builder? the township or both? Thank you.
