Cleaning stained pine ceiling boards with high pressure water

Two years ago I used tounge and groove knotty pine car siding as a ceiling for a screened porch. I had planned to stain and then top coat the ceiling with seveal coats of satin spar varnish. However, circumstances prevented me from applying any finish to the ceiling until now. My problem is that the wood has developed dark stains where our sweaty, oily hands contacted the surface and there is a good deal of mold on the surface as well. Sanding will remove the stains, but the area is rather large (24' x 24') and I am looking for a less labor intensive method. Is it possible to use a high pressure washer to clean the ceiling? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
