I have vaulted ceilings with a low pitch roof (one and a half inch by 12 inch pitch).  As part of a repair job a few years ago, the ceiling insulation was replaced with 4 inch rigid board in a 2x6 rafter space.  The contractor put in a visquine vapor barrier and  2 inch continuous soffit vents.  I have experienced condensation problems since.  Last summer I installed a baffled ridge vent.  Although the amount of condensation is less,I'm still having problems.  Is the one and a half inch space for ventilation inadequate in light of the low pitch of the roof?
