We have a lot of clay type soil in this area and water will accumulate in low lying areas and remain for long periods. I have heard that a drywell can be used to drain these areas. However, when I have dug down, as shallow as three feet, in one of these areas (to bury some rocks), I have encountered very wet soil and water accumulating -- and this was in reasonably dry weather. Would this negatge the use of a drywell? Any alternatives under these circumstances?
