Re: slope on drainFrom: info@builderswebsource.com CommentsThe building code stipulates 1/4" per foot slope for drains. Kitchen drain lines are notorious for clogging, due to grease buildup and garbage disposal use. Your proposed 1/8" per foot slope not only fails to meet basic code guidance, but you'll be leaving a maintenance headache for the future. We strongly advise against it. Builders Websource
