Pouring a Concrete Column with Sonotube on a Base Plate

I need to pour several 400 mm diameter spirally reinforced concrete columns for research purposes at a Canadian University. These columns are 12'6" tall and will be poured in a single lift using pumped concrete. The sonotube forms are resting on large steel base plates.

I have anchored the sonotube to the baseplate with 4 steel brackets (distributed evenly around the circumference). These brackets are welded to the base plate and are screwed into the sonotube using tap screws.

Do I need to be worried about the sonotube splitting open at the base due to the pressure of the concrete? Also, do I need to more significantly anchor the sonotube to the base plates to prevent it from "floating"?
