Two excellent references for radiant heat design can be found in one of our other replies at:

http://www.builderswebsource.com/_discBT/0000012f.htm

Since every home is different (based on location, temperature variations, construction technique, etc.), there is no "one design fits all" approach to radiant heating. However, there are sound engineering principles that can be followed. See if the above references help. If you need more sources, let us know and we'll look for additional ones.
