Fiber cement siding

I am considering replacing my house siding with the new fiber cement siding. I am wondering about any concerns I should have with this material or is it as good as they say? Also would this material have enough flexibility to follow the curve of a bow window? If so, are there any special techniques needed to follow? Again this is a bow not a bay.
