do-it-yourself stucco

We will be building a new home this year using Rastra. This type of insulated concrete form will take stucco applied straight to it without any prep. Since I will be doing most of the work myself, I would like to know how hard stucco is to apply by the average do-it-yourself person? Also where do I go to find books on the subject? Thanks.
