Re: Changing color of styrofoam beamsFrom: info@builderswebsource.com CommentsIf you simply want to paint the beams a lighter color, we recommend using a high quality primer with good "hiding" properties, followed by two coats of paint with an oak or maple color. A good primer-sealer is Zinsser Bulls-Eye 1-2-3 which works well with either oil and latex-based surfaces. Builders Websource
