The cost to finishing your basement depends exactly on what you want to do. A few questions might help us give you an estimate.

1) What is the total square footage of the proposed project?

2) What exists currently? Just bare concrete walls?

3) How many rooms to do you plan to but in the basement? What's the size of each?

4) How many plumbing fixtures? Please list all new sinks, toilets, showers, etc.

5) What kind of heating system does your house currently have?

6) What level of finish materials are you looking at?

7) Are there any extraordinary expenses, such as built-in cabinets, a kitchenette?

8) How big is the existing house (excluding basement and garage?)

9) What area of the country are you in? What do comparable homes in the neighborhood sell for with unfinished basements?

With this information, it is possible to make an estimated range of costs. Let us know and we'll help to give you an idea.
