Thanks for the help. I want to make sure that I've provided all the facts so that your excellent advice is still accurate. The colorcoat that was used is an acrylic latex coating with aggregate (Stolit manufactured by Sto). It was put on at about 1/16" to 1/8" thickness. Can I still put a siloxane-based seal (re: MicroSeal) on this? I was under the understanding that siloxane seals were for fresh concrete and plaster surfaces. Does the aggregate in the colorcoat qualify? Will the latex interfere with performance? You have a wonderful site that's a godsend for us homeowners.

Thanks again.
