No ventilation to added family room

My home was built about 50 years ago and a breezeway between the house and garage was added on to make a family room. The room has a poured foundation and the floor joists are level with the ground. I need to get some ventilation to the room because on the outside edges of the room some of the wood is starting to get bad. Any suggestions?
